Everything you need to know on Sidney Banks day at Huntingdon

Sidney Banks takes centre stage at Huntingdon
1 of 1

A weather wipeout for jump racing in Britain on Wednesday, but a full bill is scheduled today with Doncaster, Huntingdon and Towcester, along with Thurles in Ireland and all-weather action at Newcastle and Chelmsford.

One of the key races will be Huntingdon's Sidney Banks Memorial Novices' Hurdle, in which Western Ryder appears for Warren Greatrex, who rates his gelding highly.

There is also an interesting novice chase at Doncaster, which a certain Might Bite won last year.

Meydan stages its latest World Cup carnival card, where freezing temperatures are unlikely.

Final thought

Decentish ground at Doncaster after a sticky spell, so spring isn't far off.
