A decision on Enable's future will be made next week at the earliest, trainer John Gosden reported on Wednesday as he welcomed back his Breeders' Cup Turf heroine at Newmarket.

The four-year-old overcame Magical on ground slower than she preferred in the Grade 1 at Churchill Downs on Saturday to become the first Prix De l'Arc de Triomphe winner to follow up at the world championships in the same year.

In the aftermath of her victory, Gosden and jockey Frankie Dettori made it known that their preference would be for the seven-time Group 1 winner to remain in training in 2019 in an attempt to emulate Treve and attempt a hat-trick of wins in the Arc.
