York racecourse hosted the Sky Bet-sponsored Go Racing In Yorkshire awards lunch last week, celebrating racing achievement within county over the past year.

The Brian Ellison-trained Definitly Red was the named Yorkshire Horse of the Year after become the first Yorkshire-trained horse for 30 years to win the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby.

Philip Kirby took the award for Yorkshire's leading jumps trainer while Richard Fahey picked up the Flat equivalent.
