The 11-year-old starts from Robin Hood's Bay on the North Sea coast, south of Whitby, will go over the North York Moors, across the Yorkshire Dales and through the Lake District to finish at St Bees Head on the Irish Sea.

Classic-winning rider Sean Levey will be out of action for longer than expected after requiring an operation on a broken collarbone sustained in an incident at Salisbury last week.

"It's looking like I'll be out for eight weeks during what is a key point of the season, but I might as well get it done properly now and then it won't hinder me in the future."

Levey, who is based with trainer Richard Hannon, was riding the yard's Sirinapha in a 6f auction stakes when the juvenile crashed into the rails and unseated the rider around halfway.
