October return on cards for Geraghty with recovery going well

Barry Geraghty has his sights set on an October return to the saddle as he continues to recover from a broken arm.

The 36-year-old took a crashing fall at the final fence in the Betfred Summer Plate at Market Rasen in July and suffered a double fracture to his right humerus.

Geraghty will see Hannan Mullet, an orthopaedic surgeon at Sports Surgery Clinic, early next month and revealed to the Racing Post his recovery has gone smoothly.
