Doncaster given all-clear to race but frozen Huntingdon loses out
Today's meeting at Doncaster goes ahead as planned after the track came through a 7.30am inspection, but the fixture at Huntingdon has been cancelled.
Doncaster's clerk of the course Roderick Duncan assessed conditions after the threat of overnight frost, but was happy racing could take place.
The seven-race card starts at 1.25 and Duncan added no problems were forecast for tomorrow's Sky Bet Chase fixture at the track.
Duncan's counterpart at Huntingdon Jack Pryor was not so fortunate and had to pull the plug on his track's fixture after lows of -6.7C left the course frozen.
The meeting had been due to host a Grade 2 hurdle for mares that was moved when Ascot was off last week and the BHA has confirmed it would not be rescheduled.
