Denis Hogan picked up the Training Performance of the Year prize at the Curragh awards on Wednesday night for his work with Make A Challenge, whom he transformed from a 68-rated maiden into one of Ireland's top sprinters.

Make A Challenge won three times at the Curragh this year, including the Waterford Testimonial Stakes, and it was no surprise to see Hogan win the coveted award which was voted on via social media.
