Stoute took the unusual step of crossing town at second lot with a select team to use the Cambridge Road Polytrack where the Royal Ascot winner held his own in a mile spin with Midterm (Andrea Atzeni) and Convey. The Queen's colt is booked for the Grade 1 Pattison Canadian International at Woodbine next weekend, a $1 million contest in which Stoute is on a hat-trick following Hillstar (2014) and Cannock Chase a year ago.
