Shock King George winner Tornado Flyer should not be underestimated in the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup, according to leading jockey Danny Mullins, who believes the step up in trip from his Kempton upset could elicit even greater improvement from the top-priced 12-1 shot.

Mullins, who sprung one of the biggest surprises of the season aboard Tornado Flyer at Kempton, will be waiting on tenterhooks to find out which horses he will be riding at the meeting for trainer Willie Mullins.

However, the 29-year-old says he would relish the opportunity to be reunited with this season's 28-1 King George scorer, who posted a career-best effort when triumphing by nine lengths in the Christmas highlight.
