Next year's Curragh season will be shortened and run from mid-May to September to facilitate the course's proposed redevelopment, which is going through Horse Racing Ireland's (HRI) capital evaluation process.

Starting with a two-day fixture on May 13-14, 18 meetings will be run at the Curragh, finishing with its Irish Champions weekend fixture on September 10.

The Curragh's early and late season fixtures have been moved to other tracks, with Naas getting four of the five fixtures and Navan one. The turf season will start at Naas on March 26 and the track will also stage meetings normally held at the Curragh on April 9, May 1 and September 24, with Navan staging a meeting on October 8.
