Francesca Cumani, the daughter of Derby-winning trainer Luca, is relishing the opportunity to present Flat racing on British television next year after ITV confirmed her as Ed Chamberlin's co-host.

ITV has the rights to broadcast the sport for the next four years from January 1 and recently announced former Sky Sports ace Chamberlin would lead its coverage.

Speculation subsequently followed that Cumani, whose father won the Derby with Kahyasi in 1988 and High-Rise ten years later, would join him and the network on Tuesday confirmed that.
