Colin Keane is on the cusp of smashing Joseph O'Brien's all-time Irish record for winners in a season, having closed the gap to just 30 with still more than two months to go, and Paddy Power make him just 1-5 to achieve the incredible feat.

O'Brien eclipsed Mick Kinane's 20-year-old record of 115 winners in a season when he rode 126 winners in 2013 but the relentless pace Keane is setting this year looks likely to take him past that total on his way to a third championship.

The 26-year-old won the title last year with 100 winners, the same tally as his maiden victory in 2017, but he is already within four of another century and is 44 winners ahead of his nearer pursuer, Shane Foley.
