Twitter was abuzz last Thursday morning as the Racing Post broke the news that Aidan Coleman would ride Coneygree in the Betfair Chase with Richard Johnson committed to Menorah unless the rain intervened.

Coleman, a popular member of the weighing room and with the public, was instantly congratulated on the social media site for being handed such a prominent ride.

Yes, everyone wanted to say well done to Coleman, a rather puzzled American Twitter user who describes himself as a ‘seasoned wrestler, occasional buss boy’ but definitely not a jockey.
