Claisse leaves ground unchanged with dry spell forecast
Cheltenham clerk of the course Simon Claisse left the going unchanged at good to soft, soft in places, on Wednesday after more rain fell at the Gloucestershire track.
No further outbreaks of rain are forecast before the weekend when it could become wet again on Sunday.
Claisse said: "The going hasn't changed from yesterday. We have had a further 4mm of rain but I have left the Old and New courses as good to soft, soft in places. The cross-country course remains good to soft, good in places.
"The outlook is now dry until later on Sunday and then we may see some light rain through the weekend which could produce three to five millimetres."
