Before the start of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival, we've picked out one key quote from every race on Tuesday . . .

Metier
Supreme Novices' Hurdle

Harry Fry, trainer of Metier: "We couldn't be more pleased with his preparation. We were delighted with the rain on Sunday evening. We've kept him fresh for this race and we're really excited about his chances. He won the Tolworth really well and has impressed in everything he's done in three starts for us. He'll have to progress again but there's no reason why he can't keep climbing the ladder."

Allmankind
1.55 Cheltenham
Arkle Challenge Trophy

Dan Skelton, trainer of Allmankind: "I cannot wait for it. He's in good form, he looks fantastic and I've got no worries about the track. I'm just really excited about it and I think he's as good as I can have him. Match on!"

Alnadam
2.30 CheltenhamUltima Handicap Chase

Dan Skelton, trainer of Alnadam: "We've kept him away from three miles until now. The rain they've had is a positive for him. He's a novice, he's unexposed and progressive so he's all the things you want for this type of race. I've got no negatives with him."

Champion Hurdle

Gary Moore, trainer of Goshen: "It's all been very good since Wincanton. We're very much looking forward to it, we couldn't have him any better and soft ground would be fine for him. When he won the Kingwell he made it look so easy, so the only worry in my mind is that the others may have underachieved but he did nothing wrong. We've learned a bit more about how to ride him throughout the season. He's got to give plenty of weight away to some good mares, which is never easy, but he's a big strong horse so that may help him. I think he'll run a great race, I really do."

Saint Sam
Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle

Wilie Mullins, trainer of Saint Sam: "Saint Sam has been following some of the leading lights in this division all season. We think he has a nice mark here and the uphill finish will play to his strengths."

Snow Leopardess
4.50 Cheltenham
National Hunt Chase

Charlie Longsdon, trainer of Snow Leopardess: "This has always been the target ever since she won at Haydock in November. There's no reason why she can't go very well, I think with the 7lb mares' allowance that puts her in the mix."
