Ahead of day two of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival, we've picked out one key quote from every race on Wednesday . . .

Bravemansgame
Ballymore Novices' Hurdle

Paul Nicholls, trainer of Bravemansgame: "He's done nothing wrong this season, he's beaten what he's had to beat. He won a Grade 1 race last time and we're very happy with him. I haven't had a runner in this for a while, but you've got to have the right horse and run them when they have a chance – and he's one who's got a great chance."

The Big Breakaway
1.55 Cheltenham
Brown Advisory Novices' Chase

Joe Tizzard, assistant to Colin, trainer of The Big Breakaway: "We've said The Big Breakaway is our best chance of the meeting, he goes in second favourite and he looks really well at home. The Kempton run worked a purpose as he ran well and learned a lot from it. We've had a good prep with him and we're really excited about running. Harry [Cobden] will be riding him for the first time but he's been schooling him a lot for the last two years and has been dying to get on him. Hopefully Monkfish can tow us into the race."

Botox Has
2.30 Cheltenham
Coral Cup

Gary Moore, trainer of Botox Has: "I'm quite looking forward to him, I think he's got a great chance. He looked really good at the start of the season. The step up in trip is what he needs I think, so I'm quite hopeful."

Chacun Pour Soi
3.05 Cheltenham
Queen Mother Champion Chase

Willie Mullins, trainer of Chacun Pour Soi: "Hopefully there won’t be any last minute hiccups and he will get a chance to prove himself in Britain. Chacun comes here in great form. He’s had a great season so far and done nothing wrong. I’ve been very happy with him."

Cross Country Chase

Felix de Giles, jockey of Easysland: "It wasn't an easy decision to come as I've missed a few winners in France already so I hope this one pays off. It's not every day you get to ride a favourite at the Cheltenham Festival. I love riding in cross-country races and do particularly well in them in France. I've hit the crossbar in this one a few times. I was second to Tiger Roll in 2018 so it would be great to go one better this time. I wasn't disappointed with his last start. He had to give away a lot of weight on testing ground. He was impressive last season and when I sat on him the other morning he felt well."

Grand Annual

Dan Skelton, trainer of Not That Fuisse: "Not That Fuisse is a very strong-travelling horse. He won a jumpers' bumper very easily and this has always been the intention. He wasn't beaten that far in the Haldon Gold Cup and has had his wind done since, which gives me reason for optimism."

Kilcruit
4.50 Cheltenham
Champion Bumper

Willie Mullins, trainer of Kilcruit: "Paul [Townend] has decided to ride Kilcruit and it's hard to disagree with that decision. He's been very impressive on his last two runs and we expect him to be a major player."
