Chelmsford to stage additional meeting on Monday

Chelmsford will stage an additional fixture on Monday following the high number of eliminations at other Flat fixtures. The six-race card begins at 4.00.

Paul Johnson, head of racing at the BHA, said: "The race programme for Monday's fixture has been produced using feedback from a recently created forum which is accessible to trainers as part of the racing admin site, and allows them to engage easily and directly on race planning matters.

"It's pleasing to see the level of engagement from trainers and that we have been able to respond quickly with what we hope should be a competitive Chelmsford City card on Monday."
