Champion Stakes contender Addeybb shines in Rowley Mile exercise
Benbatl - Trainer: Saeed bin Suroor
The Limekilns are not often open as late as October but weather patterns have increasingly played havoc with the traditional training grounds rota. Bin Suroor made the most of the situation by sending some of his best kit up the trial ground headed by the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes contender, who skipped clear of recent Chelmsford winner Bin Battuta over a mile.
Star Catcher - John Gosden
Gosden could have as many as four runners in the British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes at Ascot next Saturday and two of them were in action together on the Limekilns round gallop. The Irish Oaks and Prix Vermeille winner was giving plenty in her exercise under Robert Havlin upsides Coronet (Frankie Dettori).
The Tin Man - James Fanshawe
The classy speedster was first up the newly reopened trial ground at first light and made the most of it when moving ahead of his lead horse over five furlongs. The Fred Archer Racing Club flagbearer was given some stalls practice on the Rowley Mile recently after stumbling out of the stalls in the Haydock Sprint Cup last time but looks in top shape for another crack at the British Champions Sprint at Ascot, a contest he won in 2016.
