Who were the big ante-post market movers following a dramatic weekend of racing?

It has been a dramatic weekend on the track, and one that has had major ramifications for the ante-post markets for some of the season's biggest events. We've taken a look at what impact some of the performances have had on the markets. . .
Champion Hurdle
The biggest market shake-up undoubtedly came in the Champion Hurdle, all because of one hugely dramatic Fighting Fifth Hurdle.
Yet another fall for Constitution Hill saw his odds double to 10-1 (from 5) to regain his 2023 title. Despite also crashing out, The New Lion's price remained unchanged at 4-1 for it.

She may have been stood in her box on Saturday, but Lossiemouth became the clear Champion Hurdle favourite at 2-1 (from 10-3) following defeats for her perceived main rivals. Fighting Fifth Hurdle winner and reigning Champion Hurdler Golden Ace was cut to 14-1 (from 25) by Paddy Power to take back-to-back runnings.
Stayers' Hurdle
The three-mile hurdling division also had some big changes. While Ballyburn was narrowly edged out in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle by Teahupoo, he is more fancied to reverse the form in March.
Ballyburn was cut to 2-1 favourite (from 7-2) for the Stayers' Hurdle with Paddy Power, and he is the 5-2 market leader with Coral (from 4-1) following his nose defeat on his return to hurdles.

Teahupoo, the 2024 Stayers' Hurdle winner, was cut to 3-1 (from 7-2) with Coral to regain his crown. He finished second to Bob Olinger last season.
One of Britain's main hopes for the race emerged at Newbury on Friday as Impose Toi gamely claimed the Long Distance Hurdle. He is now 10-1 (from 16) with Paddy Power.
Other movers to note
Wendigo impressed when getting off the mark over fences in the Grade 2 John Francome Novices' Chase at Newbury, and Jamie Snowden's flagbearer was cut to 16-1 (from 25) for the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase.
His stablemate La Conquiere was cut to 14-1 (from 20) for the Mares' Novices' Hurdle after an impressive win in Listed company at the Berkshire track on Saturday.
At Fairyhouse on Sunday, Koktail Brut formed part of a terrific Graded four-timer for Gordon Elliott when taking the Grade 2 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle. He is now 25-1 (from 33) for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

Another Elliott winner at Fairyhouse, Mange Tout, strengthened her position in the Triumph Hurdle market. She now heads the betting at 8-1 (from 16).
It is not all about Cheltenham though, and Will Do's neck defeat in the Porterstown Handicap Chase saw his Grand National odds halved to 50-1 (from 100).
Aintree is also on the mind for Dan Skelton. Panic Attack capped the trainer's unbelievable November when completing the Paddy Power and Coral Gold Cup double. She could step up in class next, and is 10-1 (from 16) for the Mares' Chase, although her trainer said on Sunday the Grand National is the big spring target. She is 33-1 for the National, having been initially inserted into the market by some firms at 66-1.
