Nine months was all it took for Faye Bramley to go from fledgling trainer to December Gold Cup winner.
Stationed in Lambourn at Sir AP McCoy’s pre-training base, Bramley was always going to attract attention from the off.
Within less than a month of her first runner –- Norflondonforever finished sixth at Southwell on March 21 – she was taking on Willie Mullins and co in the Scottish Grand National with Walking On Air.
