Up-and-coming Newmarket trainer splits with stable jockey

Newmarket trainer Dylan Cunha has split with his stable jockey Rhys Clutterbuck after just over a year, citing geographical reasons for the amicable parting of ways.
In February last year, rising star Clutterbuck was snapped up as first jockey at Phantom House Stables in which Cunha had not long taken total control over from his landlord William Jarvis.
The partnership then got off to a flying start when Zminiature won the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster the following month. Clutterbuck last rode for Cunha in March and partnered 27 winners from 181 rides for the South African trainer, striking up a good relationship with the sprinter Gogo Yubari for five wins.
