Lambourn: James Burn
Step Back (5.15 Aintree, nap)
Mark and Sara Bradstock know how to ready one for a big prize and chase the biggest of them all with their talented bet365 Gold Cup winner, who stays all day and jumps well, so looks poised for a bold show.

Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason
Apple's Jade (3.40 Aintree, nap)
Below form in the Champion Hurdle but previously hugely impressive in four starts in Ireland, including two thrashings of Thursday's Grade 1 winner Supasundae. Won by 41 lengths on only previous course run.
Topspeed: Dave Edwards
Poker Play (1.45 Aintree)
Stormed home at Uttoxeter three weeks ago in a respectable time and may prove the ace in this pack.
Longshot: Olly Eden
Noble Endeavor (5.15 Aintree)
Lightly raced this season but has been trained for the race and shaped more encouragingly than his recent form figures may suggest. The Gordon Elliott-trained runner was given a run over the National fences in December and with ground conditions ideal, appeals at a massive each-way price.
North: Colin Russell
Summer Lightening (1.30 Newcastle, nap)
Bumper winner on Tapeta here last April. Best run since when third in a mares' novice hurdle here last time, and with this longer trip expected to suit, has a sound chance of getting off the mark on her handicap debut.
Others to follow
Aintree: 1.45 Knock House, 3,40 Sam Spinner, 4.20 Gold Opera, 5.15 Vintage Clouds, 6.20 Fin And Game.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir
Cuban Hope (4.25 Leopardstown)
A hat-trick looks on the cards for this son of Teofilo who followed a win at Dundalk by landing a handicap over this trip in emphatic style at Navan a week ago. He has a 10lb hike in the ratings to cope with but should be up to the task.
Newmarket: David Milnes
Lestrade (2.35 Lingfield, nap)
Ran out a game winner over this trip at Chelmsford last time and is fancied to defy the resulting penalty.
Others to follow
Lingfield: 2.00 More Than More, 3.10 Sotomayor, 3.45 El Ghazwani, 4.15 Entertaining Ben, 4.60 Sir Gnet, 5.45 Mackaar.
