1. Smallest entry this century
As with many of the other Cheltenham championship races, the Stayers' Hurdle has proved a hard sell this season.
Just 28 horses were put in the race by Tuesday's closing date, which was the smallest total this century and beats the 29 entered in 2014 for a race that attracted as many as 51 in both 2021 and 2019.
