Ribchester's narrow, and arguably unlucky, defeat in the Sussex Stakes has given the form of the Jersey Stakes a big boost, and it could be raised again should Thikriyaat or Forge triumph in this Group 3.

The Sir Michael Stoute-trained pair filled the places at Royal Ascot, and should either succeed here it would be Stoute's first winner in the race since Zacinto in 2009.
