Sean Bowen eyes record 300-winner tally even McCoy couldn't reach - and is confident he can add the Coral Gold Cup along the way

Sean Bowen is confident he can add Saturday's Coral Gold Cup to his 140 winners for the jumps campaign and the champion jockey has not ruled out the possibility of becoming the first rider in history to reach 300 winners in a season.
Bowen lifted the British jump jockeys' championship for the first time last season and has been remorseless in his defence so far this term, with 82 winners separating him and his closest pursuer Harry Skelton in this season's standings.
However, while he is unashamedly driven by winners, Bowen underlined the fact that quality is every bit as important as quantity and he believes Resplendent Grey can give him a first success in one of the most prestigious handicap chases of the season at Newbury on Saturday.
