The going on the course for the Coral-Eclipse was changed to good to soft all round on Saturday after a sharp shower on Friday night.

Clerk of the course Andrew Cooper made a slight adjustment to the official ground description on the round course, which had been good in places, but said there remained some good areas. The going on the straight course is soft, good to soft in places.

"I could show you some good ground out there but taking all things into account after a little bit of rain yesterday evening and having moved on to fresh ground, I am just going to call it good to soft," Cooper said.
