Roly Poly may have a funny name but she had the last laugh when kicking off a fillies' feature double for Aidan O'Brien in the Group 2 Duchess of Cambridge Stakes.

The game success gave US sire War Front his third winner of the July festival and the 6-1 chance may seek to emulate 2013 winner Lucky Kristale, who followed up in the Lowther Stakes at York.

Ryan Moore, who was winning the event formerly known as the Cherry Hinton for the second time in three years following Arabian Queen in 2014, made use of Roly Poly's superior stamina to snuff out Magical Fire on the climb to the line.
