Oisin Murphy expects Constitution Hill to blow his rivals away when he steps out on the Flat for the second time at Kempton on Wednesday night and thinks he could be seen to even greater effect when he switches to the turf.

Murphy was on board when the 2023 Champion Hurdle winner waltzed to a nine-and-a-half length success on his Flat debut at Southwell last month, where he said the overriding feeling beneath the saddle was one of speed.

"When other people have ridden him, like Nico de Boinville and James Bowen, they've always said that he works like he's in a different league to most horses," said Murphy on Tuesday. "When I rode him work, I thought he felt very good, like a quick horse considering how big he is. And that's how he ran in the race as well.
