Jagwar camp confident there is 'plenty more to come' from their impressive festival winner in Saturday's December Gold Cup

Josh Guerriero believes there is significant improvement to come from the progressive Jagwar and hopes the Cheltenham Festival winner can kickstart the yard's season in Saturday's December Gold Cup (1.50).
Guerriero, who trains the Plate winner alongside Oliver Greenall at their Cheshire base, said a case of strangles in the summer had put the yard behind their expected rate of success at this stage of the season.
But he said the yard was "starting to turn a corner" and thinks Jagwar presents the stable with a golden opportunity to get their season firing on his first start since victory at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
