‘I’ve got to keep on going’ - Kieran Shoemark keen to focus on exciting Classic rides after losing position with Gosdens

Kieran Shoemark says his only focus is on presenting "the best version of myself on and off the track" in the coming days as he prepares for two Classic rides at Longchamp on Sunday.
Shoemark, 29, rides Luther in the Poule d'Essai des Poulains and Shes Perfect in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches as he seeks a breakthrough Classic success.
He came within half a length of doing so on Field Of Gold in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket last Saturday, but was criticised by John Gosden for misjudging his effort on the 15-8 favourite and subsequently lost his position as first rider for trainers John and Thady Gosden.
