'It's surprising how much he's improved, and he's not finished yet' - Cheltenham Festival hero Jagwar raring to go for Paddy Power Gold Cup

Jonjo O'Neill Jr is relishing being reunited with Cheltenham Festival hero Jagwar in Saturday's Paddy Power Gold Cup (2.20), and believes the 4-1 joint-favourite for the showpiece chase at Cheltenham can prove up to the test.
The Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero-trained six-year-old enjoyed a prolific first season chasing with four wins from five starts, and he took his form to a new level in the spring when impressively landing the Plate. He kicked off a fine festival for O'Neill, who also struck on 100-1 shot Poniros in the Triumph Hurdle.
The jockey is back on the JP McManus-owned Jagwar for his first start since March, and the partnership sit at the head of the Paddy Power market alongside last year's winner Il Ridoto as they look to complete a rare major handicap double in the same year.
