Injury rules Seventh Heaven out of Coronation Cup
Seventh Heaven, who had been disputing favouritism for the Investec Coronation Cup at Epsom on Friday week, will miss the Group 1 contest due to a setback and is unlikely to reappear until the autumn.
Winner of the Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks last season, the Aidan O'Brien-trained four-year-old finished second behind Jack Hobbs in the Sheema Classic on her reappearance at Meydan in March before landing the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes by five lengths at Newmarket this month.
But O'Brien revealed on Tuesday: "Unfortunately Seventh Heaven has had a little setback and won't be going to Epsom. She's having a break with a view to an autumn campaign.
“Highland Reel and his brother Idaho are both under consideration for the Coronation Cup."
As a result of the news Highland Reel was cut into general 7-4 favourite (from 3).
