Nicky Henderson has been so wowed by how well Lulamba has taken to fences that he is prepared to bypass a Grade 1 over hurdles in France and unleash his exciting prospect in a beginners' chase at Exeter this month.
It could be a big few days for Henderson, who was among the winners at Aintree on Saturday, as he is also set to take the wraps off "Mr Consistent" Jonbon at Cheltenham on Friday.
However, it is the chasing debut of last season's Grade 1-winning juvenile that has Henderson understandably excited, with the Seven Barrows trainer ditching a plan to head to France for an immediate start to life over fences, with Exeter's fixture on November 17 the target.
