Course specialists: three trainers bidding to enhance their impressive strike-rates at Tuesday's tracks

Here are three trainers who are out to improve their impressive course strike-rates on Tuesday . . .
James Owen
- Strike-rate: 4-10 (40 per cent) at Beverley
Runner: Charging Thunder
Race: 4.30 Beverley: 2m handicap
Spotlight comment: In good form in the first half of spring, with a win at Southwell (2m, all-weather) and a close second at Newbury (2m, good), and he was back on song when third in the Northumberland Plate (2m, all-weather) last month; player.
Tom Ward
- Strike-rate: 6-20 (30 per cent) at Nottingham
Runner: Read All About It
Race: 5.13 Nottingham: 1m½f handicap
Spotlight comment: Similar sort of form in her three races (7f-1m) and showed enough to believe she could have a future in handicaps off this sort of mark; considered.
Ed Walker
- Strike-rate: 5-16 (31 per cent) at Thirsk
Runner: Bette Davis Eyes
Race: 7.30 Thirsk: 7f fillies' maiden
Spotlight comment: Twelfth foal, by Blue Point; closely related to three winners including Qaraaba (7f-1m2f including US Grade 3; RPR 109) and Salsada (1m2f Flat, 96; 2m1f/2m4f hurdle), half-sister to four more including Kifaah (6f/7f; 103) and Mubaraza (1m5f-2m; 106); dam 1m4f winner (86); stable having a great year and she's one for the shortlist on this debut.
