Rumour has it that Highland Reel spends so much of the year on the road that Aidan and Anne-Marie O'Brien have redecorated his box and given it to younger brother Idaho.

Highland Reel will have run in four different countries again by season’s end in 2017 and an awayday to Epsom hardly registers on the tachometer for our boy, which was just as well given that the plane scheduled to bring the Ballydoyle horses over on Oaks day endured refuelling problems and the runners only arrived at Epsom a little over an hour before the Coronation Cup.
