The competition authorities are set to launch an inquiry into bookmaker terms and conditions, it has been reported.

Friday's edition of The Times reports the Competition and Markets Authority will examine areas such as account restrictions, promotions and customers having problems withdrawing winnings.

Expectations that the betting industry would face an investigation of its use of terms and conditions have grown this year.
