Black Caviar trainer Moody to return to racing

Peter Moody, who disbanded his successful training operation after being hit with a six-month ban for a cobalt offence, will return to the sport after agreeing to become racing manager to owner and breeder Rosemont Stud.

Trainer of the legendary Black Caviar, Moody was found guilty in March of the unintentional administration of cobalt to Lidari before the horse finished runner-up in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes at Flemington in October 2014.

Despite being allowed to return to training at the conclusion of the ban in September, Moody informed his owners he would not be returning to the profession "for the foreseeable future".
