The Gambling Commission has a new chairman in Bill Moyes, who has joined the industry regulator for a five-year term.

Moyes, who also serves as chair of the General Dental Council, which regulates dental professionals in the UK, takes over from Philip Graf.

The appointment of Moyes, who will receive £55,000 per annum, was made by culture secretary Karen Bradley with the approval of prime minister Theresa May.
