The statistics paint a picture.

With the best part of six months to go and the vast majority of the big stuff ahead, Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott are already within shouting distance of a century of winners and locked together on the earnings list at around the €1.4 million mark.

It looks as if we are in for a reprise of last season's dramatic duel that ended with Mullins taking the title for the tenth consecutive time, and 11th in all.
