Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe 2025 preview

The most valuable weekend in European racing is underway and the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe takes centre stage tomorrow, with French, British, Irish and Japanese hopes all vying for the riches.

Aidan O’Brien looks to extend his Arc record with Oaks heroine and market leader Minnie Hauk, alongside three-time Group 1 winner Los Angeles. The world-class trainer has won the race only twice, most recently with Found in 2016.

Japan continues its pursuit of its first elusive Arc triumph, spearheaded by Byzantine Dream and supported by Alohi Alii and Takashi Saito-trained Croix Du Nord.

The British contingent is led by Andrew Balding-trained Kalpana, David O’Meara-trained Estrange and Marco Botti-trained Giavellotto, each arriving with live claims of getting in the shake-up for the prize money.

Other key races on Sunday's card at Longchamp include the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, the Prix de L'Opera Longines and the Prix Marcel Boussac.

How to use your BoyleSports free bets on the Arc

With £40 in free bets, there are plenty of ways to get involved:

Francis Graffard is enjoying a terrific season and looks set to have a major say in this year’s Arc. With Calandagan ruled out, attention turns to his three-year-old colt Daryz, who already shapes like a potential star for the yard.

Daryz has shown the class, composure and progression needed to handle the demands of Longchamp, and his ability to find more when asked marks him out as a serious contender. With Graffard’s team thriving at the top level, the colt has every chance of performing on the biggest stage.
