Sky Bet Cheltenham Festival preview

Four glorious days at the Cheltenham Festival are nearing and it's not long before a strong Irish squad makes its annual pilgrimage to bid to dominant the pinnacle of the jump racing calendar - but the British hold a few strong chances this year.

The quickest two-mile hurdlers in the business do battle on day one (Tuesday, March 11), when they bid to add their names to an illustrious roll of honour in the Champion Hurdle.

On day two, it's their chasing counterparts who take to the track bidding to win the Queen Mother Champion Chase, which last year saw El Fabiolo pulled up after a horrendous mistake as the 2-9 favourite.

We could be in store for a cracking Ryanair Chase, run over an intermediate distance of 2m4½f, while the Stayers' Hurdle has plenty of new faces trying to claim the crown as joint-features are the port of call on day three.

The festival builds to a crescendo with the feature race of the whole week, the Cheltenham Gold Cup, which was won by Galopin Des Champs for the second time in a row last season. He's a hot favourite to make it three.

Which horse should you back Non Runner No Bet with Sky Bet at the Cheltenham Festival?

There are 28 races to look forward to over the four days at the Cheltenham Festival next month and there are plenty of options available for you to bet on using the Sky Bet betting offer of Non Runner No Bet. Here's a couple to keep in mind:

Has improved greatly since being sent chasing, winning her last three, and looks good value to hand Gavin Cromwell another success in the Mares' Chase. She comfortably saw off a subsequent Grade 2 winner on her penultimate start and gave weight to the entire field when following up in a Listed race on ground that would've been too quick last time. Should stay this new trip.

He ran another cracker in the King George, finishing third despite preferring to go the other way round and the ground being far quicker than he’d like, and produced a good change of gear to get up in the Cotswold Chase. It wasn't a lack of stamina that saw him finish fourth in the last Gold Cup and, if having more luck this time, his odds could look very big.

Note, these odds are subject to change
