Not only do we get to find out the final fields for all of the action at Aintree on Friday, but the 34 runners lining up in Saturday's Grand National will also be known, with the declarations having been brought forward by 24 hours.

In truth, most of us could've named half the field months ago and, as betting editor Keith Melrose pointed out in this piece, the field is unlikely to change a great deal between Monday's confirmations and this morning's declarations, although we do know Pied Piper (number 35 on the list) will get in if declared as Spillane's Tower is in Thursday's Bowl.
