Every jockey is itching to get back on track after the enforced shutdown of British racing but one rider for whom racing's imminent return cannot come quick enough is Hector Crouch, who is set to make his Classic debut aboard Military March in Saturday's Qipco 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Trained by Saeed bin Suroor, Military March boasts an unbeaten record after two runs as a juvenile, including Group 3 success in the Autumn Stakes on the Rowley Mile in October under Oisin Murphy.

Crouch previously partnered the son of New Approach when he made a winning debut on Newmarket's July course and has been suitably impressed by his work recently.
