Baaeed came out of a canter for the first time since his scintillating win in the Juddmonte International at York last month when breezing on the Al Bahathri Polytrack at second lot.

Trainer William Haggas had considered sending his superstar on the neighbouring Limekilns, but they had seen plenty of early morning workers who cut up the ground, particularly the short gallop.
