Godolphin seek more Classic glory in French Derby at Chantilly
The Classic weekend is not over yet as attention turns to France where Godolphin, Charlie Appleby and William Buick bid to complete a Derby double in the Prix du Jockey Club.
Still tingling from the success of Masar, the first colt to win the Classic in Godolphin livery, they seek more glory with the unbeaten Key Victory.
Chantilly is also the destination of Aidan O'Brien, whose team of four are headed by Rostropovich under Ryan Moore, who will seek to bounce back from Saxon Warrior's eclipse at Epsom.
British stables are involved in four other Group races on the card while nearer to home it is an all-jumps day with racing at Perth, Listowel and Fakenham, although Kilbeggan's meeting is off after supply problems resulted from a burst water main.
