All the latest going details and news from the tracks for today's meetings

Jumps action returns to Warwick on Friday
1 of 1

With jumps racing evenly spread around Britain, there is no excuse for fans not to venture out on the travel front.

Race-planning has been kind enough to give all-rounders the chance to take in not only Hexham over jumps, but also Newcastle's all-weather meeting in the evening with two hours to make the 30-minute trip.

Mind you, that will involve just over eight and a half hours of racing so both Warwick and Fontwell offer a gentler one-meeting session.

Warwick gives local trainer and table-topping Dan Skelton the chance to edge closer to a remarkably-fast century for the season with three runners.

What to watch

Feel like getting in the mood for the weekend racing. This update from Gordon Elliott on one of his stable stars set to run on Saturday fits the bill.

The best of Racing Post Sport

It is England v Germany but guaranteed no penalties as they play a friendly at Wembley. Mark Langdon is not patriotic in his choice of first goalscorer in the game.

Sweden v Italy in a World Cup play-off is more significant and Wales are also in friendly action against France away in Paris.

Final thought

Speedy table-toppers. Champion jockey Richard Johnson (94) leads trainer Dan Skelton (91) in the race to be first to have 100 winners this jump season and both are in action at Warwick today.
