Yarmouth Placepot picks: Graeme Rodway runs you through his Thursday perm

The going is expected to be on the soft side of good at Yarmouth and easy ground form might be the key.

Buoyant was third on his debut on soft ground at Windsor and Ryan Moore is an eyecatching booking for Martyn Meade in the 6f nursery (1.30). He rates as banker material.

Moore might also be the key to the following 6f novice (2.05). He is riding the Mark Johnston-trained Tippy Toes, who has finished second on all three starts and looks solid.

He also rides Turner Girl in the following mile maiden (2.40) and the daughter of Mastercraftsman has the best form of those who have run. She is another banker.

Pleasant Man ran well when seventh in a competitive Melrose at York last time and should run well in the 1m6f handicap (3.15). Prince Alex likes soft ground and looks the best alternative.

The 1m3½f handicap (3.50) is a red-hot contest featuring several promising fillies. The lightly raced Jasmine Joy handles easy ground and is a player along with Topanticipation.

The 1m2f handicap (4.25) is the final leg and Pied Piper could run into a place for John and Thady Gosden.
