The aforementioned contest at Naas was a hot one – it always is and Road To Respect won it in 2016 – and Impact Factor was only allowed to go off at 7-1 against the likes of Bacardys and Any Second Now, who also both disappointed.

It was his first outing for 211 days and he was very keen and fresh. He did too much too early and, once his chance had gone, Robbie Power accepted the situation very quickly.
