Windsor Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has a 16-line perm for the evening fixture

There’s a competitive card at Windsor and that looks attractive for the Placepot.

The consistent Katherine Place looks good for a place in the 5f handicap (4.50), but it’s also worth including likely favourite Spring Bloom, who was a good second here last week.

The 5f novice (5.20) looks a hot little contest. Spring Is Sprung shaped as if he was in need of the experience when fourth over course and distance two weeks ago and is banker material.

The 1m2f maiden (5.50) also features some interesting types. Gauntlet could go well on his debut for William Knight, but it’s also worth putting Stay Well in. He sets the standard.

With only two places on offer, it will be tricky to get through the 1m2f handicap (6.20). Stick with the race-fit pair of Classical Wave and Water’s Edge for two against the field.

Perfect Sign is one of my bets of the day in the 6f handicap (6.50). It’s a wide-open race, though, so take out some insurance by putting in Oisin Murphy’s mount, Crazy Luck.

Lochanthem will be a warm order for the mile handicap (7.20) and she rates another banker.
