Willie Mullins in a league of his own after Tornado's King George romp

Rachael Blackmore and Bryony Frost have done more for the profile of jump racing than anyone else in recent times. The have crossed so many bridges and broken down so many barriers that no one even refers to their sex anymore. They are quite clearly two of the best jockeys riding.

However, they shouldn’t be exempt from criticism and you have to wonder what they were thinking in the King George on Boxing Day.

To be fair, I’d probably give Bryony a bit of a pass because Frodon was always going to be ridden from the front and no doubt Rachael was keen to make use of Minella Indo’s stamina on a quick track like Kempton.
